Better-supported decisions
Objective
Apply confidence information to real questions about real areas, so that the person asking can back a signal, weaken an unsupported explanation, expose an alternative, or see which evidence would help most next.
Scoped How stages are defined
A correct uncertainty figure is not yet a useful one. It has to answer the question the user actually has, in a form that fits how the decision is made, without being simplified into something it is not.
Scientific correctness is necessary but not enough. What matters to the person using a result is whether it changes what they can defend, or what they do next.
On real cases, we link the result to a concrete interpretation or action and record what changed or became defensible, and why. This is judged separately from the physical questions: a useful result is not evidence that the physics is right, and the reverse holds too.
The user can answer the original question with the confidence information, and can name the next step it points to.
